Welcome to the official source of information and communication about Purdue University Northwest (PNW).
As approved by the Higher Learning Commission effective March 4, 2016, Purdue University Northwest was created by the unification of Purdue University Calumet and Purdue University North Central.
Students enrolled and admitted for semesters beginning Fall 2016 will be students of Purdue University Northwest, a comprehensive regional university within the Purdue University system with two campuses in Hammond and Westville, Indiana.
Fifth largest university in Indiana
PNW is the fifth largest public university in Indiana, enrolling more than 15,000 students and offering more than 70 undergraduate and graduate programs of study. Purdue Northwest’s larger scale provides enhanced opportunities for students, such as more choices in programs, a wider variety of shared online courses and more options for community engagement and professional development.
More resources for student success
By combining these two strong institutions, more resources will be available for educational quality and student success.
